All the logic lives inside the system: lighting, climate, blinds and scenes keep working with the internet switched off entirely. When a wired system is the right call
If renovation has not started, or the shell stage is under way, a wired system is almost always the better long-term investment. It does not depend on Wi-Fi, does not need batteries replaced across dozens of devices, holds hundreds of control points without losing responsiveness, and lasts as long as the electrical wiring in the walls. For a home above 150 m², for a villa, and certainly for a hotel, it is the only sensible choice.
Design comes before anyone cuts a wall
A wired smart home starts with a design, not with hardware. We calculate loads, produce the single-line panel diagram, mark cable routes, fix the positions of panels and sensors, and hand the electricians a specification. Cable routing design is a separate paid service and applies to wired systems only. This is the stage where money is actually saved: a correctly planned route costs far less than any later rework.
Why HDL Buspro
Buspro is HDL's own wired bus system, used in building automation for more than twenty years. All the logic sits in modules inside the building: the system does not depend on the internet, a cloud or a subscription, and keeps working even if the manufacturer ever shuts its online services down. Equipment from a single manufacturer means every device is guaranteed to work with every other, and warranty and support come from one place. It is a closed, single-vendor ecosystem — a deliberate trade, and the reason it costs noticeably less than open standards for the same capability. RBI Automation works as a partner of the official HDL distributor in Uzbekistan, so equipment arrives with a real warranty rather than through grey imports.
Timeline and cost
Wired installation is spread out because it follows the renovation: routing at the shell stage, panel and modules towards the finishing stage, commissioning and scene programming at the end. The property itself is usually under construction for months. Our own active work takes from a few days in an apartment to a few weeks in a house. Equipment warranty is 5 years.
Frequently asked questions
Can a wired smart home be installed in an already renovated apartment?
No — a wired system needs cable routes, which means cutting into walls. If the renovation is finished and you already live there, we install a wireless Zigbee system instead: the scenarios end up almost identical, without destroying the finish.
What happens if the internet goes down?
Everything keeps working. In Buspro the logic is stored in modules inside the building; the internet is only needed for control from another city and for phone notifications. Switches, scenes, climate and blinds run autonomously.
Is cable routing design included in the installation price?
No, it is a separate paid service and applies to wired systems only. The engineer visit, consultation and preliminary estimate, however, are free.
