Water leak protection
This is the one smart home system that pays for itself in a single moment. A burst flexible hose under the sink floods your apartment and two below it overnight — the repair costs more than an entire smart home. A leak sensor costs very little and shuts the water off within seconds.
RBI Automation installs water leak protection systems in Tashkent: wireless floor leak sensors in bathrooms, kitchens and boiler rooms, plus motorised ball valves on the cold and hot water inlets. When a sensor triggers, the valves close automatically within seconds and you get a phone notification. The system works without internet as well.
The valves matter more than the sensors
A sensor that only beeps is useless when you are at work or asleep. The point of the system is the motorised valves on the inlet: they physically cut the water, and the puddle stays the size of a towel. Without valves this is just an alarm.
Valves need exercising
A ball valve left in one position for years seizes and will not turn when it matters. We schedule an automatic valve cycle once a month — the system checks its own mechanics.
Frequently asked questions
What happens during a power cut?
The valves stay in their current position — the water is not cut off by itself. Where this is critical we fit actuators with battery backup.
Can it be installed in a finished apartment?
Yes — it is one of the easiest systems to install in an occupied flat. The sensors are wireless and the valves fit onto existing inlets in a single visit.
