Wireless smart home: Zigbee, Tuya, Home Assistant
A wireless system solves the central problem of a finished apartment: making the home smart without breaking anything. Devices talk over Zigbee — a dedicated radio mesh that does not load your Wi-Fi and does not fall apart once there are a hundred devices in the home. The brain is a local Home Assistant server that keeps your scenes in your home rather than in someone else's cloud.
RBI Automation installs wireless smart home systems on Zigbee, Tuya and Home Assistant in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. This works in an apartment with a finished renovation, without chasing walls: devices go into existing back boxes, behind curtain rails and onto walls. An apartment takes a few days, a house a few weeks. Equipment warranty on wireless systems is 1 year. The engineer visit and estimate are free.
Your renovation stays untouched
Smart relays fit inside the standard back box behind your existing switch. The wall switch keeps working exactly as before — the same light can now also be controlled from a phone, on a schedule, or as part of a scene. Sensors mount with adhesive or two screws. A curtain rail goes onto the wall or into the recess. In a few days the apartment becomes smart, and you cannot tell from the finish.
Zigbee, not Wi-Fi
We deliberately build on Zigbee. Wi-Fi devices hit a ceiling: routers start choking at a few dozen clients and the smart home turns flaky. Zigbee is a mesh — every mains-powered device repeats the signal for its neighbours, so the more devices you add, the more reliable the network gets. Where possible we bring Tuya devices onto that same Zigbee mesh.
Home Assistant — a brain that belongs to you
Scenes, sensor history and logic live on a local server inside your apartment. That means the system works with the internet down, your data never leaves the building, and there is no subscription to pay. Home Assistant can also link devices from different manufacturers to each other — something no manufacturer's own app will ever do.
What it can and cannot do
Honestly: a wireless system does not replace a wired one on a large property. If you have a 400 m² villa and renovation has not started, wired is the right answer. But for an apartment that is already lived in, wireless delivers about 90% of the wired scenarios for substantially less money, and without a single day without water or power.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to change my finish or furniture?
No. Devices go into existing back boxes, behind curtain rails and onto walls. The only thing occasionally needed is a socket near the curtain rail for the drive, and it can normally be run discreetly.
How long does installation take?
An apartment takes a few days. A house takes a few weeks. We work in a way that lets you keep living there throughout.
What is the warranty on wireless equipment?
One year on equipment. For comparison, HDL Buspro wired system equipment carries a 5-year warranty.
