One question settles most of it
Are you renovating? If the walls are bare, a wired system is realistic and usually better value long term. If the renovation is finished and you live there, the question is closed — wireless it is. Everything else is refinement.
Where wired is objectively stronger
Reliability and lifespan. Buspro has no batteries, no radio interference and no dependence on a router. Response is instant and does not degrade once there are a hundred devices. The logic lives in the modules, so the system survives changing your ISP, a cloud shutting down, or you changing phone. On properties above 150 m², in houses and in hotels, this is not an advantage but a requirement.
Where wireless is objectively stronger
Price, speed and reversibility. Installation in an apartment takes days rather than months, the cost is noticeably lower, and if you move you can take some of the devices with you. Plus expandability: adding a sensor or relay to an existing Zigbee mesh is half an hour of work, whereas in a wired system a new point means new cable.
A hybrid is a perfectly good answer
In houses we nearly always mix: a wired backbone for lighting, climate and blinds indoors, wireless devices in the yard, the gazebo, the garage and any already-finished rooms. This is not a compromise but a deliberate choice — pay for reliability where it matters and not where it does not.
On warranty
The difference in warranty reflects the difference in expected life: 5 years on HDL Buspro wired equipment, 1 year on wireless. That is an honest benchmark if you plan to live in the property for decades.
