Smart curtains and blinds
Curtains are the part of a smart home guests notice most, and one of the most practical. In the morning they open by themselves and wake you with light rather than sound. In the afternoon heat they close on the sunny side, taking load off the air conditioner.
RBI Automation installs motorised curtain rails, roller blinds and venetian blinds in Tashkent. In an apartment with a finished renovation we fit a wireless rail powered from a concealed socket — no wall chasing needed. Control is by remote, phone, schedule, light sensor and scenes. In most cases your existing curtains can be rehung on the new rail.
Your fabric usually stays
It is the rail that changes, not the curtains. If your drapes hang on hooks or eyelets, in most cases they move straight onto the new motorised rail. The engineer inspects the fixing during the visit and confirms.
Power is the only complication
The drive needs a socket near the rail. In a finished interior it is usually run discreetly along the top of the wall or hidden behind the pelmet. This is the one job that may require careful work on the finish, and we always discuss it before starting.
Frequently asked questions
Is a motorised rail noisy?
Modern drives are quiet — roughly the level of a soft conversation, which is not disruptive in a bedroom. Travel speed is adjustable.
Can I open the curtains by hand if the power is out?
Yes. The drives have a manual mode: a gentle pull on the curtain and the rail either completes the travel itself or lets you move it by hand.
